June 14 Took a few Mierotus and
Peromypeus . But decided to cross
the river to get away from
the annoyance incident to near
proximity g a Post. So we made
a camp on the opposite side
from the landing a little
higher up the river at a point
where there was a clearing and
which afforded a variety of
grounds for trapping. We
set out a lot of traps finding
signs of Mierotus plentiful and

has been forested and
has come up with young
poplars mainly Tremulodes.
