During my absence, my brother
had made a trip about 15
miles up the river in hopes
of getting species that weorce not obtain in the imme-
diate vicinity of the Fort. He
found it to be a poor
place for mammals, but
not and could not trap
many, but he obtained several
species not taken here (Ziber)
