Ther. SAT. APRIL 22, 1893 Wea. The woods on Sugarloaf Mt. are composed almost wholly of oak and chestnut. No conifers are found at all The hickory does form thickets at places especially along the small streams. The Mt. is not well defined in its limits. It being up-hill nearly all the way from Con fluence. My stopping place was about 3 miles from Confluece and excursions were made from there to the top of the Mt. 3 or 4 miles further Ther. SUN.
