On Abies at Salmonier N.H. found the same at Mt. Desert. Rests on under side of twig- Color 1/3 prince green, a heavy median dorsal, and sub-dorsal white chalk defined line. A heavy stigmal band narrowed or broken between the segments, forming a series of pointed ovals one on each segment. The upper and rather smaller half red purple the lower white shading to yellow; an 1-4 thus form a tolerably slit band. A rather heavy green yellow line at the base of each leg and proleg. Legs spotty reddish, head green. Stigmata light brown bisected by the red and white fields which are clearly defined from one another in a straight line. L. 130mm - 1 rather short. Slightly tapering. Entomd Earth Aug.9- prob Andria acrmyctoides - Head mottled whitish & brownish with black points, a light line from base curves down L. 28 mm all died. Salmonier Aug. 16 prob Aculella? Dread black a dorsal row of orange roundish spots 3 or 2.8 L on the rest and forming a continuous line or foot 12 and anal seg. A little nod of ivory out, patellus 4 similar range a patch place post. Each spiracle 2x., or 1 when it is outside and 2.8 when it extends nearly across the segment. Large 45 mm stone top se. ant. Head legs prolegs and spiracles black - Colors were probably brighter was ready to change.
