Apatela dissicla Found about two-welt on maple (rubra) Sept. 4, 1884 - on Cutti Hand. Ground color light yellow tinged with purple above. D.2.S.D. = So that the d. and s.d.- regions clearly marked from the others. S.B. S.D. regions clearly defined from the rest. Body crossed by light-yellow lines which form a network laterally and are strongly tinged with purplish Dorsally 2 S.D. Then alternate with less regular transverse bands which are black d.2.S.D. and dull greenish in the lateral & ventral regions where they form meshes with the yellow ones. There are two rows of dorsal tubercles & the smaller transverse about 1/4th the larger & stout. Dark matter Each row being composed of two tubs. on each segment.
