5. Scopulosoma devia. Eggs as in 1 Hatched May Young larvae milky (had black, legs protyps, shield on 1 and 1/2 Weeks. L. 2 mm After 1st month- May 27. Milky white clearer than before black parts contrasting: utty lit. black. A faint-purple caudal and dorsal tinge L. After 2nd month- May Much as in viminalis (Lam 25.) but paler. After 3rd month- Palmer Lighter than any of the other species but nearest viminalis from which it differs decidedly, by a totally distinct subdorsal line and by the absence of purple shades on by 1-3 except just above the Lat. white line: dorsal emp. light & bluish green mottled with whitish. Lower parts very light. Protopy only, black shield black
