4. Scopelosoma 3-stigmal. Eggs as in N°1. Laid May 5-et-sq. Young Larva does not differ from N°1. After First Moult. May 16. 11 Days. Not separable from N°1. After second moult. May. 22. Nt. exp. from N°1. L. 11. After 3° Moult May 28. I inst. begin of a decided difference from N°1. Color similarly but noticeably more richly brightly. The lines and spots more distinct- the white raised tubercles in the dorsal region lying beside the dors. line and placed +:+: I had |+:+| differ from 1 decidedly the upper being larger & distinct. The cross, small and indistinct. Else as in N°1 osm. stg. L. 15. After 4° moult June 3 Lighter than N°1 more clearly marked: the set. Tub. above mentioned of the same size but not much larger than in N°1. The lines clear Cat. moderately heavy 25 mm.
