3 Scopelosoma vinulentum Egg laid as before. Hatched May 9. Young larva as in (1) perhaps a little lighter, but- varying in shade. After first moult. May [illegible] Much as in (1) S. vinul. with little purple lateral shading and black light. After second moult.- Purple shades on 1-4 confined to the region included by the lateral and supr subdorsal line. The inf. s.d. line, barely visible. Dorsal portion distinctly blue-green divided by a dorsal line more continuous and larger but less contrasting than in (1) (may) 2 green: below light green. 10 m. Head light brown dark ant. After 3rd moult.- Much as refer The purple duller and clearly defined. Dorsal and lateral lines more distinct. Head shining brow. inf.s.d. line only indicated by a faint distinct markings in the purple. After 4th moult-
