13 The following spellings and elevations are taken from a map from the Survey by Capt.F.C.LearmouthR.N. H.M.S."Merlin" June 1910. Mount Kina Balu. Jesselton, TheCapital, Usukan. Khota Balud, elevation 370 feet Kibayo, " 550 " Keung, " 1190 " Kiau, " 3089 " [illegible] Lobang (cave) " 4790 " Kemberanga " 7040 " Paka Cave " 9790 " Low,s Peak " 13455 " Kadamayan River Tampassuk River XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Please note the spelling of Kina Balu with two capitals. I have my heart quite set on this spelling. Minitindok Gorge is the same as my Lobang Gorge on my labels and I think the Clemens marked theirs the same as I did as we did not know that it had any specific name until we saw Moultons article. Shall probably think of many more things for you to note later on but this is all for the present. Yours sincerely Topping. Jan.17th. 1916.
