166 Mar. Dec. 6 Had some heavy rains in the night, I was up before day- light, had my tea and went up stairs and then breakfast. The first thing in the morning I finished up my packing, then went to the P.O., and the R.Ry. station for the train, to stop for my luggage; had rains and then suns all the afternoon, and it was fairly clear at 12.15 when I took my luggage to the boat. A great load off my mind. I came back to the Perth House for tiffin, then settled up my bill (did not take the head boy as a clerk of the poor servant) and then, waited for the rain to stop; walked down to the Belanger at about 3.30, changed my clothes and then had some tea. The Cofh. had a big party but I did not join it. We sailed for Bundaberg shortly after six; it is quite rough and I was a little uncertain inwards the course of dinner; the storm is getting very bad. To bed at 10.
