164 Sat. Dec. 4 I was up at 6.10 and had my tea and toast and then breakfast at 7.30. At eight I went up over the hill and dropped down into the garden patch where Mrs. bloemers and I made one day; I collected 3 relegirellas, 3 ferns, one pipe work, an umbellum shrub and a banhina; was very tired when I got back. Push some clothes and specimens out in the sun and they had some bread & milk. Began my general packing, then ground away at specimens some more. Went up town and after tea I began packing up my specimens for good; finished them up and had my belt before seven. I constantly have the fear that the Bloemers will come on to Jerusalem and go back on the same boat with me. I wrote up any notes & planned to go to the P.O. with some letters but the electric light [illegible] went to bed at 9.
