Briefly day appearing with many areas shot (Buffalo grass)

October 25, 1955
To Boston, Mass.
Took plane Chicago to Boston, Mass., to attend A.O.U.
meetings. Also attended meetings Oct. 26, 27, 28 and talked
about my prairie dog project with Victor Cahalan and others.
October 29, 1955
To Bangor, Maine
With Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Palmer drove to Brunswick,
Maine. Later took train to Bangor. Bar Harbor, Me.
October 30, 1955 Visited Dr. John King at Bar
Harbor and talked about Cynops ludovicianus
and his study at Wind Cave. King now works in Animal
Behavior section of Ross B. Jackson Memorial Laboratory.
October 31, 1955. Looked over King's notes + photos of
prairie dogs. Visited laboratories. Returned in evening
to Bangor & took train to Boston.
November 1, 1955
To New York, N.Y.
Took plane to N.Y. In afternoon talked with Fairfield
Calhoun and Mr. Snyder at Conservation Foundation con-
cerning prairie dog study & report.
November 2, 1955. Spent most of the day at the N.Y.
Zoological Park conferring with John Tee-Van, Lee
Candell, and others concerning prairie dog project.
November 3-4, 1955.
To Washington, D.C.
Train to Washington. Spent morning at mammal dept.
of U.S. National Museum. Talked with Viola Schantz,
Dove Johnson, Stanley Young. In afternoon [illegible]
