Grey-Luckled Tern

16-19 june.
Scattered generally over the
island wherever Seacosta clumps
were to be found. The birds meet
beneath the shrub. Noted an
abundance of chicks, but cycle.
Ranged from eggs to flying mmitt.
Many chicks in the fully feathered,
but as yet 6th- tailed stage.
Population: somewhere about 13,000.
25 % of this chicks.

Common Noddy

Common nests under Lavaely or
other dense shrub and under
some infected weed clumps.
Practically all birds noted were
on eggs. Shelton noted about a
1-2 % chick count. Estimates
10,000 nesting pair. Total 25,000
birds on island.
