Noted an abundance of chicks, but cycle. Ranged from eggs to flying mmitt. Many chicks in the fully feathered, but as yet 6th- tailed stage. Population: somewhere about 13,000. 25 % of this chicks. Practically all birds noted were on eggs. Shelton noted about a 1-2 % chick count. Estimates 10,000 nesting pair. Total 25,000 birds on island.
