Lepiota near 7262 Pileus 2.8cm., silky, fibrilloose; disc Hays russet shading to carnelian red; pellicle somewhat separable, fragile; margin splitting; flesh thin, white Gills free, ventricose, crowded, white Stipe hollow, subcartilaginous, very fragile, silky, white, 5cm. x 3mm., ending in a bulb 8-9mm; ring 1-1.5cm. below pileus, erect, forming a cottony sheath on stem; below for 5mm. base of bulb shows narrow ring of same texture but not true volva. Under Chusquea above Quebrada Costa Rica, San José prov., Guayabillos, 2300m. 7-7-36 Dodge & Goerger
