Pileus 3.5cm. with margins elevated, crisped & irregular; surface tomentose
strigose, with tendency to pyramidal scales at margin, light ochraceous
salmon; flesh light buff
Gills close, sinuate, adnate, broad, warm buffx to light buff
Stipe fleshy, 2cm. x 8mm., cottony, white, staining hazel where handled,
hollow, stuffed, cut surface appearing water soaked and cartilaginous
layer lmm. thick under gills and tomentum of stipe
