Pileus viscid, 4 cm.,expanded, verrutoseom disc, dark
Mars brown, shading to hazel & russet, long striate, sulcate
mrgins, pellicle not separable;flesh thick, now russet (incipient
decay) taste slowly acrid; gills close, narrow, pale ochraceous-
salmon, discoloring to grayish- lavender; spores cream-color;
stipe pale ochraceus-salmon, discoloring to russet where handled,
tapering upward, 3.5 cm. # 6-8 mm.
Mossy bank.
