Pileus up to 217cm. in diameter, fibrillose, scale; disc fuscous with
fuscous radial striations on white margin
Gills white, free, close, broad, tending to split above them; ring
broad, 1.5cm. from apex
Stipe white, up to 6cm. x 2mm. diam, base bulbous but no trace of
volva, hollow, cartilaginous
