Psallliota Pileus convex, 4 cm., surface slightly rimos\nlose, except on disc, sepia, but showing in creasing white toward margin; gills free, very close, narrow to medium, now pinkish; stipe 6 cm. # 7 mm., glabrous, silky, white; annulus very broad, thick, double. Grassy potrero under Alnus. Specimens examined: Costa Rica, San Jose, Rancho Redondo, Alt. 2150 m., Dodge & Thomas 5027
