Psalliot pileus convex, expanded, up to 12 cm. diameter,disc tawny, honey-yellow, margin lighter, fibrillose, scaly,rimose on disc, margin splitting; flesh+ thick; gills free, purple -brown, crowded, ventricose, stem 6 cm # 13-20 mm, tapering upward, pruinose above, broad, thick annulus, below floccose. Grassy hillside in potrero.
