Transcription
Pluteus near reticulatus Pileus 4-415 cm diam. disc merulioid sulcate with radiating furrows; margins striate, splitting, bay and darker; gills free pink, ventricose; stipe cartilaginous, compressed, 6 cm x 4 mm silky fibrillose, striate, above furfuraceous punctate, pink. The dots are of the same color as dots on surface of pileus and are probably remains of the universal veil. Specimens examined Costa Rica: San Jose: Rancho Redondo, 2300-2400 m, Dodge & Thomas 5029
