Pleurotus? Pilei up to 12 # 20 cm., hygrophanous, salmon-buff to light ochraceous-salmon, margin ruffled, dimmidiate, altho with suggestion to coalescence of flabelliform parts; gills adnate, pale, flesh-color, 5-6 mm., wide, close with extra gills about 1 cm. long next margin; stipe none. On dead fence stump. Specimens examined: Costa Rica, San Jose, Desamaparados de San Jose, Alt. 1130m., Dodge & Thomas 4806
