Pleurotus. Eaten. Pilei ll # 8 cm., dimidiate with single point of attachment, slightly irregular in outline and edges slightly crisped, buffy-brown or lighter; gills close, broad, completely dedurrent along point of attachment, white. Mossy log in potzero south of house. The flavor is excellent. Specimens examined: Costa Rica, San Jose, Rancho Redondo, Alt. 2160-2180m., Doge & Thomas 5058
