Pileus avellaneous, 3.5 cm., tomentose, margin thin, white,
faintly striate, crisped, rarely proliferating; gills white, very
narrow, very crowded, attachment lateral; pileus varying from dimi-
diate to reniform, etc., often appearing almost resupinate, but free
from tsubstrate.
