Pholiota Pileus 2.5cm., squarrose, scaly on disc; scales Hays russet on background of ochraceous buff; irregularly expanded, margin faintly striate Gills close, ventricose, adnate to slightly decurrent; ring near apex, erect, narrow, easily overlooked Stipe less than 2cm. x 2mm., fibrous, ochraceous buff or lighter, with occasional fibres of Hays russet.
