Pileus deeply infundibuliform in center, margin convex, innate
fibrillose, striate sulcate (shallow) up to 1 cm, tawny olive;
gills distant, decurrent, white, broad in middle rapidly narrowing
stipe cartilaginous 1 cm x 0.7 mm white, carob brown below becoming
wholly so
