Naucoria mexicana group Pileus campanulate, margin inrolled, conspicuously scaly with pointed pyramidal or recurved scales, shaggy on disc, less so toward thin, inrolled cortinate margin; scales bister, rest light pinkish cinnamon, 1cm, diameter, 6-7mm, high; flesh thick on disc Gills free or nearly so, broad, close, cinnamon with white edges Stipe cartilaginous hollow, cortinate, floccose with a slight greenish tint when first handled, becoming above brown or darker, 2mm, diameter x 5cm. long Terrestrial in forest mould Costa Rica, San José prov., Guayabillos, 2300m. 7-7-36 Dodge & Goerger
