Pileus ovate, 3 mm diam, tawny to russet, striate, sulcate margin subdentate incurved slightly; gills filling space between membranous flesh and stipe, white to slightly ochra- ceous buff, subdistant; stipe slender 23 mm x 1 mm smooth concolor Dodge & Goerger same locality agrees with above but stipe 1.5 mm X 0.6 mm, gills definitely short decurrent Costa Rica: San Jose, Rancho Redondo 2230 m Dodge & Thomas 5106 Guayaballos, 2240 m Dodge & Goerger (July 6).
