38 Armillaria Leptota Pileus hemispheric, margin thin,unrolled, appendiculate up to 7 mm. diam, surface pyramidal, warts like Elaph. variegat- us but much finer, antimony yellow, flesh,medium thickness, a little lighter than surface; gills close, white, ventricose, sin- uate-adnate; ring like Cortinarius_ but thicker; stipe tomentose above, ring, below with warts like pileus, but larger and of loos- er texture, 2 cm. # 1/2 mm. above ring, 2 mm. below, ending in slight bulb Bank of roadside Specimens examined: Costa Rica, San Jose, Rancho Redondo, Alt. 2250 m.
