Pileus irregularly expanded up to 5 cm.,surface hygro-
phanous, scaly, auburn; gills close,subdistant,wide,sinuate,
adnate,Mars yellow;stipe 2 cm. # 7 mm. above,5 mm. below, con-
color with gills darker where handled.
