Flammula Pileus convex to expanded,up to 5 cm.,innate,fibrillose, chestnut or somewhat lighter on margin, which is slightly appendiculate,not rolled;gills adnate,broad,close,wax-yellow;flesh thin,except on disc, watery(cart?) of same texture & continuous with stem;stipe fleshy, cartilaginous, watersoaked, smooth, silky, concolor with gills above shading to color of pileus or darker below, 4 cm # 4 mm. Mossy logs in potrero southe of house. Specimens examined: Costa Rica, San Jose, Rancho Redondo, Alt. 2160-2180, Dodge & Thomas 5176
