Cortinarius
Pileus convex, viscid, tawny to russet, darker when moist,
margin appendiculate with fragments of cortina especially when
young; flesh white, thin except on disc; gills broad, close, white
becoming brownish, adnexed; stipe cartilaginous hollow, white stained
red brown by remains of cortina 1.5 x 5 mm above tapering to 3 mm
