Collybia near C. oculatus C. monticola Pileus 3 cm.., smooth, pale ochraceous-salmon with russet umbo, margin sulcate striate; flesh very thin, white; gills white, adnate with decurrent line, broad; stipe concolor or dark- er with cottony white mycelium, slender equal 4 cm. long, 3 mm. diameter. No agrees with above but pileus depressed slightly umbilicate gills adnexed without decurrent line, ventricose, stipe 8 cm long 4mm diam Specimens examined: Costa Rica, Cartago, N.W. slope La Carpintera, Alt.1550 m.
