Stropharia Gollybia, Purple-spored Psilocybe Pileus expanded, convex, viscid after disapperance of shag- gy, squamose, universal veil, russet disc, shading to antimony- yellow, 3.5 cm.; gills adnate, sinuate, ventricose, close; flesh thick on broad umbo, yellowish; stipe hollow, cartillaginous, shag- gy, below remains of cortina, some of which remains attached to margin of pileus, russet after handling, bulbous, dirt clinging as a pseudovolva. Specimens examined: Costa Rica, San Jose, Rancho Redondo, Alt. 23-2650, Dodge & Thomas. 5160
