See painting. Surface cracked minutely velvety; tubes large
angular, not changing color when wounded, mouths not different
color; glesh with faint pankish tint, developing slowly after
cutting; stipe deep brown, broadly starting to decay since tubes
and part of the surface of cap show whitish mycelium
