Bolbitius Gomphidius? Coprinus? Pileus campanulate, slightly umbonate, fibrillose, salmon to rufous, margin not striate; gills crowded, broad, free or nearly so, white at first, then brown and deliquescing; stipe concolorous, 1 cm # 1 mm., slightly fibrillose with remains of cortina forming in- conspicuous ring. Decaying log. Specimens examined: Costa Rica, Limon, Rose Hill above R. Pacuare, Catt, Dodge, & Thomas 5509
