COSTA RICAN AGRICULTURAL Castell W. Dodge The first collection of Costa Rican Agricultural records, of which there are only a few, was obtained by Mr. Anders S. Osterhout, who visited Costa Rica in 1846-1848. Osterhout, Anders S., collected in the Virgin Islands and Nicaragua in 1846-1848. Hafner, F. J. (1881). "Costa Rican Agricultural Records." Upon his return to Denmark in 1853, he returned to the form of the previous publication as "A Catalogue of the Costa Rican Agricultural Records" (in Danish). In 1861, he published a second edition with an additional appendix on the cultivation of coffee in Central America. The original text was reprinted in 1881 under the title "Costa Rican Agricultural Records." This is a reprint of the original work by Anders S.
