Seining -
1115 - 1200 hrs. & 1215 - 1230 hrs.
Total of 60 individuals seined. Mainly juveniles.
Many other at lower shelf.
Seining on shelf. Larger individuals went over edge.
After this, seining produced many small individuals).
But, 1215-1230 hrs. was more productive
(perhaps because of more time allowed for fish to get
on upper shelf after much human activity on
shelf).
1300 hrs. - CO2 8.0 ppm.
pH. 7.7
Sexual distinctions difficult to make due to
lack of experience. Males in breeding colors
can be identified, however, and some large
females, also. Some individuals were as follows:
