late approached the stationary one,
just appearing to curl around it,
and then uncurling and straightening.
Only the posterior portion of the
planaria remained crossed and touching.
The second planaria "crinkled" also and
neither moved for several minutes.
Note - the large planaria mentioned
before was about 2" away from
this pair and was active (and moving
toward them) until the second planaria
"crinkled." It did also, and all three
became active simultaneously, eventhough
the large single planaria was approx.
2" away from the pair during this
time.
3 Octobers
Fungus much heavier - threads
several inches long. Cleaned out
aquarium completely, sterilizing and
using (methyl green) in substantial
quantities. Fish put in gallon jar
(w/ some methyl green, air stone, and
heater) during process.
Only eight C. clabili removed
from the aquarium. I had thought
that I had counted nine fish
after removal of the plants, so
disappearance of the fish may
