General Observations:
upper shelf
Spirogyna location
on upper shelf
Weather - Clear, no wind
Upper Shelf - Spirogyna sparse. Much deep
gray (decaying spirogyna) and light
tan silt covering.
Note - spirogyna sparse & silt condition
suggest another sand storm or flood
since I was last here in August.
Later, I noted more rocks & damage
done to the floating cage.
Cage - spirogyna very thick - lining side
& bottom in most places. Algae mats
are no longer green - almost black.
Algae mats on shelf are also not green -
almost black.
Spirogyna is absent from extreme
so tip of the shelf area - This
area had been untouched by the
flood & debris & had had
been filled with spirogyna.
