0700 - hrs PST

0700hrs - We arrived at Devil's Hole approx. 3 minutes after
the to date largest H-bomb test at the site and
found that an Atomic Energy Com. geologist had
been sent to Devil's Hole to record blast effects
on water level. His name was Bert Weir
and he said that the water level had lowered
almost a half a foot and raised 43/100 ft. (according
to the U.S. lead. water meter)

After approx. 20 minutes, there was another brief rising of the level +
some tides - without visible cause, & subduing Mr. Weir's.
