General Observations:
Sunrise - 0545 hrs.
Light breeze. Cool (~450-50°F).
Partly cloudy (cirrus clouds overhead +
rain front near)
60K Sit
First picture taken of upper shelf
before disturbed (taken w/my camera)
Algae - very sparse. Greenish tint
only very slight. Color of upper
Shelf very brownish.
Scum - over entire surface but
not quite as heavy as usual.
Pictures show scum coagulated
spots (w/ light film in between).
0800 hrs. - Much pairing and following seen
over NE rock (best view point)
Spawning seen. Three fish close together
♂? & ♀? and spawning
(could not see sexes - too far away)
then group met two more fish and
intermingled and then formed "line" -
all close together. Other pairs chasing.
