Initial Observations:
Weather - sky clear - no wind.
(sunrise - 0615 hrs.)
OK Took picture of shelf w/my camera - Scum
(taken before disturbance)
General condition -
Scum completely covering surface
except for small whirl in edge. -
Scum quite heavy.
Algae - very slight covering
over rocks. Green tint in
places & on rocks at water
surface.
0745 - Definite feeding. (lunging at rocks).
Water level - 1.98
Light i = 11.8
λ = 6.4
Eight fish at water meta - (Nursery) c=10.5
λ=6.0
Neither beetles nor planaria are active.
0753 hrs. - Had to disperse scum in order to count fish.
Could see only very limitedly. Fish disappear
into rocks. Some chasing observed.
