0930 - 1135 hrs.

Initial Observations -
Weather - clear sky except for some slate
clouds at horizon. No wind to gentle wind.
General Condition - No pictures of shelf
possible because of scum.
Rocked barrier - "grey" matter is now
almost white. Fish still picking at it.
Scum - Heavy. Broken + small
flakes but w light scum in
between flakes - giving (from a
distance) the shelf a greenish tint
as if the algae were growing back.
(see M. Armstrong note - Schoolhouse
has luxuriant algae a chara).
Scum over upper shelf area
shifting.
0930 hrs. - O2 taken (Winkler) - 4.0 ppm
Water level - 1.75 on USGS meter
1000 hrs. - Light (no direct sun - sunlight half-
way down upper wall)
Incidence - 11.9
Reflected - 6.7
