Initial Observations -
Weather: dark clouds covering most of the sky.
(Dry lake bed very wet along rd.) Snow
on higher mountains. Wind - (above hole:
20-25 + gusts to 30 mph.) in hole: quits to =15
Air temp. above hole = 9.4°C
General Condition: No algae except for small
green mats which are reduced (even in
age). Only a green tint on rocks.
Scum very scattered & reduced
(still drifts in groups).
0840 hr. - few fish on shelf
Some feeding activity (at grey + lt. tan sandy
area on west side of shelf, especially). Fish
Play against rocks.
Water level - 1.90
No planaria activity. Beetle at surface on
rocks. Water temp. = 33.3°C
Count 70 fish - ≥ 70% of these are juvenile
and small adults.
about 20 large adults.
a few lt. males but not white-looking.
