All of these are
incl. in previous
measurements) Four adults collected + preserved.
Four others were collected + put in a
styrofoam cooler to be taken back to NSU.
All of these died + were preserved.
(except two fish - which were too disintigrated)
Female in cage can easily be distinguished
from males while in water - very much
darker.
1630 hrs. - while Dip netting, we saw a Neotoma
lepidale come down to the water & drink
for several minutes.
1100 hrs. - Water level 1.8/
Light - reflection in hole high but no
direct sun. Sun about 20' above
water on western ledge.
Light - 13.7 incident
8.2 reflected.
