CJJ 62-17 Carol J James Devil's Hole, DVNM, Ash Meadows, Nye Co., Nevada 12 November 1969 0855 - 1115 hr. PST C. James & CW Loy Stopped at Manse (before going to D.H.) + put traps in. Initial observations - Weather - partly cloudy but sunny. General Condition - Algae very sparse now in all area - still a little over rocks, here, but otherwise just minute covering over all rocks. No floating algae. Seem very reduced, also- a very little is scattered over middle of upper shelf + some is at N + NW edge of Hole. 0855 - (4) pictures taken - as follows: Charlie in these pictures X - off focus 1 - 8x100 1 - 5.6 x 150 1 - close up 3ft 5.6 x 100 0955 - Water level 1.76 Light 12.4 incident 6.5 reflected
