Armstrong (Other survey at Manse - (W) Loy) Initial Observations: Weather - some breeze. Partly cloudy but sunny. Clouds very scattered. Several Condition - No floating algae. Scum covering most of surface broken but heavy. Algae on shelf very sparse. Water clearer than previously. Algae still somewhat more in middle section but not heavy 1420 hr. - water level - 2.08 Two pictures taken, both w/ Melis in Bathing suit top. No birds. Planarians very active - water high + covering much of stand rock. Beetles on rocks but not very active. Bees somewhat active. Beetle copulating Sun much more at an angle (southern ?) - at about 40° - Unusually low. Sun started on shelf as we
