to Devil's Hole. C.W. Doy MST # 4.
We left Devil's Hole for several hours
during the middle of the day and went to
Schoolhouse Spring. We also went to Bigodale

after leaving Devil's Hole at 1500 hrs.
Initial Observations:
Weather - Partly cloudy but sunny.

Scum - broken + shifting. No floating
algae.
Activity on shelf quite limited during the time
we were there. - We used the 4' umbrella (boy)

a sample + for the cage but were
only partially successful.
At first, 50 fish on shelf then 75 as'
scum shifted then 100 fish (0910 hrs.) on
upper shelf.
No fish in cage when arrived. Algae
(except for one large floating piece that
had been placed in the cage before) sparse
