CJS 67-9
Pictures taken (see CJS 67-8) were of four
different groups (some groups taken twice). Setting
at 3.5x 25 on the Exa camera w/ wide angle
lens but no polaroid filter. No strobe necessary
(much reflection of light in hole area - off rock side).
Light reading = 8.5 (on light meter)
~1900 hrs - Different O2 machine used than previously
Water temp. -34.2°C
Air temp. -35°C O2 machine used for all
Light readings
Red - below seals } probe placed in middle of shelf
Black - 26.3°C facing (top toward) south.
O2 - 4.6
~2000 hrs - O2 sat. = 8.4 at 33.8°C ± 7.8 at 33.6°C
O2 shelf = 3.8 at 34°C ± 7.6 at 33.6°C
I believe these O2 measurements to be inaccurate -
probe
machine would not go back to < .1 when placed in
grey bottle after readings taken. Probe was left in
water for ~45 min. before first reading was taken.
O2 - taken by analysis of water w/ little chemistry
kit.
O2 = 3-4 ppm (closer to 3ppm)
Observations:
Males are not as dark in color as on
all previous visits. In fact, many large males
