adults & some young. Concentration of fish on upper
shelf seems to be highest at the NE-sloping rock.
(Note - more light reflected off this rock. Rees algae
here. Rock approach lights than rest of shelf.)
Rain up to this time has been only very light
sprinkles for no more than one or two minutes.
Again - quite dark now. Fish "spooky."
More young seen than at any time since
30 June & 1 July 1967 (see cgg 67-4).
→ Collected 6 fish — by dipnetting.
Again, females absent or rare.

only - approx. 1 minute at a time. Much lightning.
2020 hrs. - Still intermittent showers (stop + start suddenly).
While collecting planaria, at rocks at south end of
shelf, Approximately 10 fish approached. Several
fish even came up onto the shallow ledge
of one of the rocks where we were shining the
light. Some of these collected - included in
6 fish mentioned above. Of the ten fish
which approached, 2-3 Adults, 2-3 young, 1 net
juvenile. Planaria on rocks, but not
swimming at surface of water.

Wind a little stronger & gusty. → 15-20 mph.
down in Devil's Hole, up to 45 mph.
